MCPCR moots one stop centre to support displaced children

Imphal, October 26 2024: The Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MCPCR) conducted a thematic discussion programme on "Searching for Solution" to address the problem being faced by children taking refuge in relief camps today.

At the programme held at Manipur Press Club, Chairperson of MCPCR Keisham Pradipkumar said that opening a One Stop Centre with a sole objective to support the children affected by the unrest in Manipur is the need of the hour.

Taking up such a mechanism will be helpful in supporting the displaced children, especially those who are having a mental problem, he added.
