Imphal, June 26 2025: Please refer to the news item under the heading "Samvidhan Hatya Diwas observed across State" on the 2nd page of June 26 issue of this paper.

It is hereby clarified that the sentence which read "India was placed under a state of Emergency under Article 353 of the Constitution" should be read as "India was placed under the state of Emergency under Article 352" and not as published.

The inadvertent error is deeply regretted.
