Imphal, May 26 2022: The proposed State-wide general strike of the JAC Against the Brutal Killing of KM Abdullah has been called off, today.

The JAC also agreed to claim the body of Abdullah.

Speaking to media persons after Chief Minister N Biren Singh at Babupara today, JAC convenor Md Ayub Kori said that the decision to withdraw the bandh and claim the body were taken after reaching an agreement on some points with the Chief Minister.

As per Md Ayub, the Chief Minister has agreed to submit a chargesheet against the killer(s) within three months, arrest the remaining culprits and provide a Government job to one of the family members of the deceased among others.
