Imphal, July 25 2024: A man was found dead at Irom Meijrao on the bank of Nambul River in the morning today.

The deceased has been identified as Kongbrailat-pam Suresh (38), s/o Late Prameshor of Uripok Haobam Dewan Leikai.

It is reported that Suresh was missing since July 23 and his family had lodged a missing report with Imphal police station.

The body was discovered by the locals of Irom Meijrao and they informed the police about the finding shortly after.

Later, the corpse was picked by Wangoi police and deposited at RIMS mortuary.

The body has been handed over to the family members after an autopsy.
