Imphal, April 25 2026: Assam Rifles distributed essential items to the residents of Waphong Village in Noney district as part of its ongoing humanitarian outreach aimed at supporting communities affected by the prevailing security situation and associated hardships.

The force provided essential daily-use commodities to address immediate requirements and alleviate the difficulties faced by local families, said a press release.

The effort not only met material needs but also instilled a sense of reassurance among the villagers.

The villagers expressed their sincere gratitude for the timely assistance.
