Imphal, February 25 2025: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr IK Muivah has been promoted to the rank of Additional Director General of Police.

An order to this effect was issued by Under Secretary (DP) M Rabichandra Singh.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr Muivah has demonstrated remarkable leadership and versatility, serving in various capacities, including Superintendent of Police (SP) of Bishnupur and Chandel districts, CMTW, CO, 8 MR, and SP Jail; Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Range I and Range-III and IGP (Administration, Zone -II, Intelligence, and Armed Police & Operations) .
