GST 2.0: PM, FM deserve public appreciation says RS MP

Imphal, September 23 2025: Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba has stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman deserve public appreciation for the GST reforms which came into effect from September 22 .

He made the statement during a press conference held at Thambal Shanglen, Nityaipat Chuthek, to discuss the newly introduced GST 2.0 which according to the MP has made a slew of products cheaper and reduced the tax slabs to 5% and 18% .
