UNAL stages protest demonstrations

Imphal, April 23 2026: Members of Uripok Nupi Apunba Lup (UNAL) staged protest demonstrations on roads across Uripok area today, condemning the tragic killing of two innocent children in the Tronglaobi on April 7 .

The protesters demanded the Government to book and arrest the perpetrators of the Tronglaobi attack at the earliest.

They further demanded that the actions of both the State and Central security forces be subjected to a Judicial inquiry, in order to ensure accountability and transparency.

The protesters urged the authorities concerned to take immediate steps to deliver justice and restore public confidence.
