Imphal, February 21: A man was found dead near a meat outlet at North AOC under Imphal Police Station at around 5 am today.

The deceased appears to be a Nepali and around 36 years of age.

His ear lobes were pierced and hair cut short with wheatish complexion.

The body was found clad in a grey colour jogging suit, red T-shirt and a jersey of coffee colour with stripes of white and grey.

It is suspected that he may have been clubbed to death.

There were injury marks on his body.

Police have picked up the body and kept the same at RIMS morgue for identification.
