Imphal, March 20:
Coming out strongly against the threats and intimidations served by the proscribed PULF against the media persons in the State, the media establishments in Manipur have decided to cease work from tomorrow (March 21) indefinitely.
The decision was arrived at during a meeting held between the Standing Committee of All Manipur Working Journalists' Union and Editors today evening.
A General Body Meeting will also be held on March 26 at 11 am at the premises of Manipur Press Club to discuss further course of action.
