Imphal, March 18: The All Manipur Working Journalists' Union and Editors of the State dailies during a meeting held today at Press Club at 2 pm have decided to appeal to the proscribed PULF to try and patch up their internal differences as well as not to impose diktats on the media over what should be published and what should not be published.

In a statement, AMWJU also urged the outfit not to intimidate or threaten media persons, who are working against all odds.

The Union and Editors are still committed to the earlier decision to edit and publish statements issued through the proper channel and as long as it does not violate the code of conduct (local adjustment).
