Imphal, November 16 2025: Lilong Youth Dramatic Union (LYDU) celebrated its Golden Jubilee today at its hall in Lilong Keithel, Imphal West district.

The celebration was graced by dignitaries, including Dr Yumnam Radheshyam Singh, MLA, Hiyanglam AC; Karam Shyam, MLA, Langthabal AC; Lourembam Rameshore Meitei, MLA, Keirao AC; Thounaojam Joy Meitei, president, LYDU; Lamabam Lalmani.

Chairperson in-charge, Lilong Municipal Council; and W Gonendro, former president, LYDU.

At the event, speakers called on the artists/ dramatic unions to avail the benefits of the various schemes/grants provided by the Ministry and State Government and produce at least one production every year.
