Imphal, April 16 2026: Once again, the temporary suspension/curbing of internet services and mobile data services including broadband, VSATs and VPN services in the five districts of Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal, Kakching and Bishnupur imposed since 2 pm of April 7, 2026 has been extended by two days with effect from 2 pm today.

Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Home) N Ashok Kumar issued an order to this effect today.
