Imphal, August 14 2024: The Supreme Court of India has elevated Ngangom Junior to the prestigious rank of a Senior Advocate along with 38 other lawyers, today.

Notably, Ngangom Junior is the first Advocate from North East India barring Assam to be elevated as a Senior Advocate, a significant honor in the legal profession.

In a full Court meeting held on Wednesday, 14 August 2024, the Chief Justice of India and the Judges of the Supreme Court of India designated the 39 Advocates as Senior Advocates with effect from 14 August 2024, said a notification issued by the apex Court.
