Imphal, March 13: As assured by the Chief Minister on the floor of the House, the IG (Intelligence) has started the process of investigating the circumstances that allowed attackers to launch a bomb attack at the Assembly complex on March 8.There was no sitting of the Assembly on the day the bomb attack was launched.

Speaking to The Sangai Express a reliable source said that the IG has started studying the case minutely and if needed the statements of all the security personnel deputed on sentry duty on the day of the incident would be recorded.

The Chief Minister had informed the House that the IG had been given one week's time to submit his report and had also assured that responsibility would be fixed and no one would be spared.

To denounce the attack, the Assembly had suspended all businesses of the day after it resumed its sitting after the bomb attack.
