Imphal, March 09 2025: Unknown persons, suspected to be cadres of an underground outfit, placed a hand grenade at the residential gate of Deputy Director (in-charge) Veterinary, Urikhinbam Dilip (58) Kumar at Langthabal Kunja Awang Leikai today afternoon.

After receiving the information, a team of Singjamei police rushed to the spot and safely retrieved the hand grenade.

Singjamei police have registered a case.
