Imphal, November 08, 2008: IMPHAL, Nov 8:In connection with the economic blockade imposed by Senapati District Students' Association along NH 39, Works Minister K Ranjit had a meeting with representatives of the student body this afternoon at Senapati.

Transport Minister L Jayantakumar and MLA K Raina were also present at the meeting.

K Ranjit informed that the student body agreed to consider lifting the blockade.

The two sides also agreed to hold another meeting soon even as report suggest that the blockade has been intensified.
