Imphal, May 07 2026: The Kuki National Army (B) has denied the claim that the outfit is involved in the attack at Namlee, Choro and Wanglee villages of Kamjong district.

In a press release, the outfit claimed that it is not involved in any activities within Indian territory.

Saying that its mission is to restore democracy in Myanmar, it urged the communities in Ukhrul and Kamjong to avoid escalating today's incident into an ethnic conflict.

It also urged the Tangkhul community to desist from dissemination of baseless information but uphold the truth.
