Imphal, October 06 2026: Dead body of one Harisankar Ray (40) s/o Mahendra Roy from Binnakandi Grant Part-I, Lakhipur sub-division, Cachar district, Assam has been lying unclaimed at JNIMS morgue.

According to a press release issued by the Officer-in-Charge of Tengnoupal police station, Harisankar Ray who was working as a brick mason was found dead inside his room near the community hall of Lamrinkhuw village, Tengnoupal district on October 2, 2026 .

It said that the dead body will be disposed of as per prescribed procedure in case no family member or relative comes forward to claim it by October 10, 2026 .
