Imphal, May 06: Additional Director General of Assam Rifles Maj Gen Gurdeep Singh, VSM arrived at Mantripukhri yesterday on a two-day tour of the State.

Soon after the arrival, the Maj Gen visited Somsai (Ukhrul), Kakching and Pallel along with reviewing the existing security situation and the developmental projects being undertaken by the Assam Rifles.

On the second and last day of the visit today, the General officer visited Keithelmanbi and Churachand pur.

Later the General officer departed for Aizwal, said a statement issued by AR PRO.
