Imphal, August 04 2026: Chief Judicial Magistrate, Imphal East has remanded Ngangkham Ronaldo, an accused in the case regarding the murder of his own father, to judicial custody till August 18 .

Ngangkham Ronaldo was produced before the Court of the CJM Imphal East today after completion of a 7-day police custody period.

Notably, Ngangkham Thambou was shot dead and his wife was stabbed multiple times injuring her seriously in the early hours of July 20 at their house at Keirao Wangkhem, under Irilbung police station.

Police first arrested a neighbour, and later the deceased person's son Ngangkham Ronaldo on July 28 .
