Floods affect over 1.6 Lakh individuals

Imphal, June 03 2025: The floods in Manipur have damaged 35,193 homes, affecting 1,64,897 individuals, according to a bulletin issued by the Relief and Disaster Management Department today.

The report also stated that 643 villages/localities have been affected by the flood, with 469 villages freshly affected.

Of the 1,64,897 individuals, houses of 1,08,363 were inundated in the last 24 hours, it added.

Till today, 82.79 hectares of paddy lands have been affected.
