Imphal, June 03 2024: Water levels of all major rivers draining the State have receded below the warning levels.

Water levels of major rivers viz; Imphal, Iril, Nambul, Thoubal, Sekmai etc have fallen below the warning levels.

However, the water level of Ithai Barrage still remains above the warning level., according to information received from the Water Resources Department.

Although most of the places which were flooded a couple of days back are now dry, some areas are still water-logged.

Excess water is being drained out from the low-lying and water-logged areas using water pumps, said the source.
