Imphal, July 02 2025: Following recovery of 18 more COVID-19 patients, the number of COVID-19 active cases in the State has come down to 80.Out of the 80 active cases, 76 are in home isolation.

Taking into account the 18 people discharged today, the total number of discharged cases has reached 189 .

On the other hand, 33 samples were tested for CO VID-19 today and six of them were confirmed positive, registering a positivity rate of 18.2 per cent.

Of the six positive cases detected today, four belong to Imphal West and one each to Imphal East and Bishnupur.

The cumulative number of COVID-19 positive cases as on July 2, 2025 is 269 .
