National Unity Day : CRPF organises cycle rally at various places

Imphal, October 29 2022: In line with the upcoming 147th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (National Unity Day), 86th Battalion CRPF Lamphelpat today organised a cycle rally at its Units Headquarter Lamphelpat.

The rally was conducted under the aegis of IG Manipur & Nagaland Sector and supervision of Mohamand Yusuf, Commandant 86 Bn CRPF, said a release issued by CRPF.

Mohamand Yusuf flagged off the cycle rally which was participated by the public, officers & personnel of 86 Bn CRPF and members of Manipur Adventure And Mountain Bikers Association (MAAMBA) from its unit Headquarter Lamphelpat.

The rally covered a distance of 22 Km starting from Unit HQ Lamphelpat to Shija Hospital, Langol village, Mary Kom road, Game village, DC Office Imphal West, CBI Office, RIMS Hospital, Sanakeithel, Thangmeiband road, ST Savio School, 25th BRTF and SP NIA Office.

Similarly, Group Centre CRPF, Langjing also organised a Cycle rally today to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and National Unity Day celebration.

The rally, participated by about 40 cyclists, went from Group Centre campus to SAI Complex, NH-10 .

The event was organised under the command of Sandeep Datta, IG, Manipur & Nagaland Sector; guidance of DK Tripathi, DIG (Adm), M&N Sector; and supervision of PK Nayak, DIG, Group Centre, CRPF, Langjing.
