DAJGUA campaign expands to remote villages of hill districts

The Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) campaign continues to expand its reach to remote and far-flung villages across Manipur's hill districts.
SENAPATI
A saturation drive on Information, Education and Communication (IEC) campaign of PM-DAJGUA and PM-JANMAN organised by the District Administration Senapati was held today at Willong Khullen Old Church, Senapati district under the supervision of Reikimdaar Khaling, MCS, Block Development Officer, Willong.
The concerned SDO, DLOs of various departments including bank personnel also participate in the campaign to ensure coverage of every household for awareness and access to their rightful entitlements under PM DAJGUA and PM JANMAN initiatives.
Around 500 people out of 23 villages residing from the blocks and its surrounding villages attended the Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan and PM JANMAN, India's largest tribal empowerment campaign.
During the campaign, about 18 stalls from various departments including BDO Willong were opened for the public to avail various services and address their grievances.
TENGNOUPAL
The DAJGUA campaign has extended its reach to Laiching Maipou and Khukarthil villages of Tengnoupal district under Machi Sub-division today.
The campaign, aimed at delivering entitlements directly to the communities was supervised by SDO/BDO Machi, Md Nazmul Huda Khan.
The benefit saturation camp was attended by villagers of both the villages along with District Level Officers from various departments of Tengnoupal district.
The campaign aimed to raise awareness about various welfare schemes under the DAJGUA initiative and to ensure saturation of benefits to all eligible beneficiaries.
In today's programme, officials from line departments opened stalls and delivered services of several schemes under various departments.
PHERZAWL
The District Administration of Pherzawl extended its outreach activities under DAJGUA campaign to Sipuikawn, Lungthulien, Senvon and Parbung villages under Tipaimukh Subdivision.
Benefit Saturation Camps provided a one-stop platform to access Government services such as issuance of tribe and domicile certificates, Aadhaar card enrollment and updates, health check-ups, AB-PMJAY, enrollment in Social Security Schemes like PMJJBY, PMSBY & APY, assistance in bank account opening, registration for Farmer's Card and PM-KISAN among others.
Alongside these camps, an IEC drive was also conducted to raise awareness among the public about Government schemes and services.
CHURACHANDPUR
The DAJGUA campaign has extended its reach to remote comers of Churachandpur district, hosting a comprehensive service delivery event under the Singngat Sub-division today.
The campaign, aimed at delivering entitlements directly to remote communities, was supervised by Singngat's Sub-Divisional Officer, Samuel Tongminlen Lhungdim.
It brought together around 15 Government departments at the YPA Hall to provide a wide range of public services.
A parallel awareness programme on drug abuse and illicit trafficking was conducted, aiming to inform the public on the dangers of substance misuse.
The event was jointly organized by the District Legal Services Authority in coordination with the District Administration.
Meanwhile, the Churachandpur District Administration, led by Sub-divisional Officer, Churachandpur Vidyamari Sridhar today successfully held DAJGUA - Benefit Saturation camps at Lamka College for Lamka South Block, Churachandpur.
Today's camp witnessed active participation from various government departments including Medical, Social Welfare, IT, PHED, CAF & PD, Forest, ICDS, Agriculture Electricity Department , Education Department etc .
The Benefit Saturation Campaign saw enthusiastic participation from District Level Officers (DLOs), line departments staff, village authorities and a large number of residents from Lamka South TD Block.
KAMJONG
The district administration Kamjong under the PM-DAJGUA carried on its mission of benefit saturation at Thawai Village, Kamjong District for Thawai, Riha, Lamlai Khunou, Chadong and Sikibung.
Nimmi Azingwungshi Khamrang, MCS, Sub-Divisional Officer, Phungyar, Kamjong District attended the programme and apprised the gatherings about the mission and objective of the campaign.
DLOs and representatives of different line departments spoke on the various schemes offered by their respective department.
A total of 205 beneficiaries were distributed including 16 Adhar Card, 20 PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, 23 PM Vishwakarma, 8 PM Ujjwala Yojana, 30 Ayushman Bharat card, 3 PM Matru Vandana Yojana, 36 Tribe Certificates, 73 Domicile Certificates, 20 Ration Cards and 5 Mission Indradhanush.
