State contingent takes part in 19th National Jamboree of Bharat Scouts & Guides

The Grand Finale of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations and the 19thNational Jamboree of the Bharat Scouts & Guides commenced at the Defence Expo Ground, Sector 15, Vrindavan Yojna, Lucknow.
The week-long event, held from November 23 to 29 with the theme "Viksit Yuva-Viksit Bharat", marks a major milestone with the introduction of several modem, technological and cultural innovations showcasing for the first time in any national Jamboree.
The 19th National Jamboree was formally inaugurated by Anandiben Patel, Governor of Uttar Pradesh.
Organised by the Uttar Pradesh State Bharat Scouts & Guides, the Jamboree features a host of new attractions aimed at inspiring and empowering young participants.
A highlight is the spectacular two-day drone show, where hundreds of synchronised drones will narrate stories of unity, peace and youth empowerment, celebrating 75 years of Scouting and Guiding in India.
The event also offers a wide range of adventure activities, including High Rope Adventures, Ground-Level Challenges and an Amusement Zone.
The Indian Air Force's "Air Agniveer" exhibition, displaying defence technologies, aviation models, interactive displays and live demonstrations, is drawing significant interest from participants.
Workshops on Artificial Intelligence, technology, leadership, innovation and creativity are being conducted to enhance problem-solving skills, teamwork and modem competencies among scouts and guides, contributing to the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
Representing Manipur, State Chief Commissioner Mayanglambam Sushil Kumar (retired IPS officer) is attending the jamboree along with State officials and a contingent of 41 participants.
The team comprises scouts from Imphal East (2), Tamenglong (4), Maram (7) and Thoubal (4), and guides from Imphal East (7), Imphal West (6), Tamenglong (1) and Maram (10) .
Okram Dilipkumar Meitei, State Organising Commissioner (Scouts), is leading the scouts' contingent, while S Kemolata Devi, State Commissioner (Guides) is heading the guides' team.
Delegations from seven countries- Saudi Arabia, Poland, USA, Maldives, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Nepal, and representatives from 60 State and UT units, including Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Manipur, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Sikkim, Nagaland, Tripura, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Jharkhand and Bihar, are taking part.
More than 32,000 participants, including over 300 service rovers and rangers, are attending the event.
