Gaidon bats for dialogue

UNC president Gaidon Kamei has categorically stated that dialogue is the only means to solve any problem.
Holding talks and dialogue are the only means to solve the problem said Gaidon Kamei in an exclusive interview with The Sangai Express when he came out from the Court room after appearing before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Imphal East today.
UNC president Gaidon Kamei and information secretary Shangkhel Stephen were produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Imphal East for the first time after both of them were lodged in Sajiwa central Jail under judicial custody remand.
The Court further remanded them to judicial custody till February 7 .
Talking to The Sangai Express Gaidon Kamei said that he would go to Delhi for a tripartite talk with the State and Central Government, if necessary.
If such a tripartite talk is held, the outcome would be positive, he said.
He also said that every problem can be solved through talks.
He also said that he is looking forward to go to Delhi for the tripartite talk if the Government of India and the State Government are really concerned to solve the problem as his presence is required for holding the talks as a leader of the organization.
UNC executive members have already sent a letter to the Central Government reminding that his presence (Gaidon) is required during the talk.
He said that tripartite talk is a must and they were the first to put up such a proposal before the Government of India.
