Imphal, March 19 2023: The 1st Kongpal Social Development Organisation Painting Competition was conducted today to mark the end of the Free Fine Arts Coaching Camp jointly organised by the Kongpal Social Development Organisation cum Youth Centre, Mangal Leima VLF and Khurai Gram Panchayat from February 16 .

The painting competition for children was held at KSDO Community Hall.

Speaking on the occasion, Laikhuram Ruhesh, Vice president, KSDO Club stated that more than 30 students participated in the day's painting competition.

The theme of the painting competition revolved around nature, how important it is to save nature and safeguard natural resources.

Aside from presenting awards to the winners, simple gifts were presented to all the participants of the painting competition as a form of encouragement.

Laikhuram Ruhesh added that KSDO will continue to host similar activities to bring about positive social transformations.

Dignitaries present at the 1st KSDO Painting Competition included RK Mukta, Pradhan, Khurai Khaidem Leikai as the chief guest; N Basanta, Mission Manager, MSRLM, Imphal East district, M Leingakpa Singh, Lecturer, Manipur University of Culture, Anand Naoribam, Assistant Teacher, Fine Arts, School Arena of Learning as the special guests; Landhoni Devi, president, Mangal Leima VLF as the guest of honour and Kumar Singh KSDO president as the functional president.

Many residents of the area and members of KSDO also attended the function.
