Imphal, October 18 2021: CAF and PD Minister Th Satyabrata has said that the Government needs the support and cooperation of the people to perform its duties effectively.

The Minister made the remark while inaugurating a community hall at Khongman Mangjil within Yaiskul AC today which was constructed under the initiative of the Khongman Mangjil Development Committee.

Satyabrata added that he entered politics to carry out developmental works in Yaiskul AC.

He added that situation in the State has changed for the better in the last 4 and half years and added that bandhs and blockades have become a thing of the past.

All these have been made possible with the sincere efforts of the BJP led Government.

The appointment of A Sharda as State unit president, Leishemba Sanajaoba as Rajya Sabha MP and him as a Cabinet Minister, all from Yaiskul AC, are examples that the BJP Government at the Centre and the State is considerate of the Constituency, added the Minister.

Giving credit for completion of the community hall to the Development Committee, the Minister assured that he will add a kitchen or a washing basin at the community hall and other accessories including fans etc.

The Minister also assured that he understands the problems faced by the people of his Constituency when the locality is affected by frequent rains and added he will try to solve the problem by constructing the needed adequate drainage system and sought support of the people.

He also appealed to everyone present at the gathering to support the present Government as it works for the welfare of the people.

"I will also try my best and perform well for the service of the community and people of the State to build a better Manipur," he declared.

Former Corporator Ward Number 18, Yaiskul AC, Inunganbi Laimayum Devi highlighted various achievements of the BJP Government including the recent renaming of Mt Harriet in Andaman and Nicobar to Mt Manipur, naming of Naval ship as INS Imphal.

She added that the Narendra Modi Government has also introduced various schemes like the Nari Shakti for women empowerment, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and Ayushman Bharat for the welfare of the public.

The State Government has also launched the Chief Minister Hakshelgi Tengbang to provide better health care facilities by providing financial assistance, she added.

Th Satyabrata is a representative of the Constituency who is very concerned about the development and welfare of his locality, Inunganbi Laimayum Devi said and added that much development work including construction of roads and providing drinking water connection to every part of the AC have been taken up during his tenure.

The dignitaries of the function paid floral tributes to the photos of late senior citizens-RK Irabot Sana, Huidrom Thambalngou Singh and Langoljam Shamu Singh who made special contributions to the construction of the community hall during their lifetime.

An office of the BJP, Ward number 18, Yaiskul Mandal was also inaugurated today.

Member IMC RK Manorama Devi, secretary Khongman Mangjil Development Committee L Priyokumar Singh, other members of the committee and locals of Yaiskul AC were present during the function.
