Foothill Naga JAC tells 'Kuki refugees' to cease activities

Imphal, April 12 2025: The Foothill Naga Joint Action Committee (FNJAC) has urged all armed individuals or groups operating under the banner of 'Kuki refugee identity' to immediately cease their activities and refrain from operating in 'Southern Nagalim' .

In a statement, FNJAC said that the recent premeditated attack on Naga civilians by Kukis exposes a pattern of aggression and opportunism.

Saying that Nagas have been upholding peace but the deployment of armed civilians and militants at Naga areas constitute a direct threat to the entire Naga community, the Committee added that the Nagas deserve the right to defend their people and territories.

The Committee said that they won't remain silent when their people are threatened and their lands encroached upon.
