Seven Demands for Grants cleared

Imphal, August 07 2024: The State Assembly unanimously passed seven Demands for Grants amounting to Rs.65,701,018,000 today in the evening session of the sixth day of the ongoing House session.

The Demands for Grants passed are
(i) Demand no 17 - Agriculture: a sum of Rs 378,87,83,000,
(ii) Demand no 20 - Community and Rural Development: a sum of Rs 4110,89,93,000,
(iii) Demand no 23 - Power: a sum of Rs 510,19,29,000,
(iv) Demand no 25 - Youth Affairs and Sports Development: a sum of Rs 98,13,78,000,
(v) Demand no 30 - Planning: a sum of Rs 907,67,02,000,
(vi) Demand no 42 - State Academy of Training: a sum of Rs 13,52,25,000,
(vii) Demand no 47 - Minorities and Other Backward Classes and Scheduled Caste Department: a sum of Rs 550,80,08,000 .
