State artistes bag awards at 32nd All India Multilingual Short Drama & Cultural Competition

Bishnupur, January 03 2026: Representing Manipur, artistes of the Thangjing Art and Cultural Academy, Moirang have bagged several awards at the 32nd All India Multilingual Short Drama and Cultural Competition 2025 (Akhil Bharatiya Bahubhasiya Laghu Natak Avam Sanskriti Pratiyogita) held at Dehri-Dalmiyanagar Rohtas, Bihar from December 26 to 30, 2025.The competition was organised by Abhinav Kala Sangam and cultural troupes from 26 different states of the country took part in the 32nd All India Multilingual Short Drama and Cultural Competition 2025.Notably, Tomthinnganba Khuraijam of the Thangjing Art and Cultural Academy bagged the 2nd position in the solo dance category; Mairembam Bidyarani and her party won the 2nd position in the group dance category (Maibi Jagoi) and further bagged the 2nd berth in Ranga Yatri (Street Show).

While "Haoba Konu" directed by Rajmohon Ahanthem also bagged the 4th position in the drama category, Mairembam Malemnganbi was named the Best Child Artist for her role in the same drama and Moirangthem Nabachandra also bagged an award for his exceptional portrayal of his character role.

In this connection, The Thangjing Art and Cultural Academy Moirang and The Kege Theatre Cultural Academy have commended the artistes for bringing laurels to the State and promoting Manipuri culture.
