Imphal, February 01 2025: TS Paul Women's College, Mongsangkhei, organized a two-day Biotechnology and Innovation Festival on January 29-30, 2025, under the aegis of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell, which brought together experts, innovators, and enthusiasts to showcase and celebrate the latest advancements in biotechnology and innovation, fostering a spirit of collaboration and knowledge-sharing among the participants.

The event, presided over by distinguished guests, including Prof H S Shekhar Sharma, Director of SAIRAM, Langjing Achouba; Mrs Thiyam Nandita Devi from TS Paul Manipur Women's College; Dr Senjam Jinus, Associate Dean of PDDUIAS Utlou; and Kshetrimayum Devendra Singh, Principal of TS Paul Women's College, featured an array of innovative and interactive programs, including an innovation fair, innovation challenges, tabletop exhibitions, science quizzes, and a buyer-seller meet, showcasing a diverse range of products and innovations, such as dried flower items, plant-based cosmetics, value-added food products made from local fruits, vegetables, wine, snails, and other unique items, highlighting the potential for innovation and entrepreneurship to drive economic growth and sustainable development in Manipur.
