KCP (MC) refutes peace talk with Govt

Imphal, September 30: Reacting to media report of one faction of the KCP (MC) agreeing to enter peace process with the Government, self-styled PRO of KCP (MC) Purathana has stated the outfit has not even dreamed of it and the claim of the Government is a complete hogwash.

In a statement, Puranthaba further said that the representatives of KCP (MC) who supposedly held talks with the officials of the 3 Corps during a meeting facilitated by Assam Rifles on June 24 may be possibly those who have fallen into the trap of the Assam Rifles.

How the Assam Rifles staged managed fake surrender ceremony of alleged UNLF cadres and how parents snatched their children from Assam Rifles after a big fight at court complex is still known to the people.

All those who are impersonating as members of KCP (MC) should surrender at the earliest.

Otherwise, their respective family members should bear the brunt, Puranthaba said, while clarifying that Gopeshore of Wangkhei Thambalkhong has no connection with KCP (MC) at all.
