ANSAM calls emergency session on June 3

Senapati, May 31 2026: The All Naga Students Association, Manipur (ANSAM) has called an Emergency Assembly Session on June 3 at Ukhrul district headquarters.

In a circular, ANSAM said the Emergency Assembly Session of the body for the tenure 2024-26 will convene on June 3 at the Ukhrul district headquarters from 11 am .

The emergency session will discuss issues related to the present state of unrest in Manipur, it said, asking former leaders, members of constituent units, sub-ordinate bodies, tribunals and executive council of the association to attend.

Notably ANSAM had earlier served a June 2 deadline to the Government of Manipur to establish the status of the six Naga individuals who were taken captive on May 13 at Leilon Vaiphei village.
