Joseph Ki Macha invited for International fest

Imphal, October 28 2008: After receiving rave reviews at Mumbai International Film Festival, 2008 and VIBGYOR International Film Festival, Joseph Ki Macha (Joseph's Son), a short film directed by Bobby Wahengbam has been invited at the forthcoming 6th Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival slated to be held from December 11 to 15 and 14th Kolkata Film Festival slated to be held from November 10 to 17 .

Produced by DDK Imphal, the film is based on the short story of the same name written by Sahitya Akademi awardee Sudhir Naoroibam.

It is among the 50 films selected from all over the world for screening at the Kathmandu festival considered to be one of the most prestigious platforms for filmmakers.

Revolving around the story of a law-abiding couple, Joseph and Mary, who suddenly find their only son missing one day, the main casts of the film include RK Jnanranjan, Reena and Rajen Meitei.

The camera work is done by Irom Maipak and the music score by Bhuvan.
