Imphal, September 24 2024: Irabot Foundation Manipur (IFM) and All Manipur Ethnical Socio-Cultural Organisation (AMESCO) distributed seeds for rabi crops and edible items including local rice, chakhao, fruits and vegetables to the people at Kwakeithel Akham Leikai Community Hall today.

IFM president Kh Gopen Luwang, AMESCO president Loitongbam Ibotombi also took part in the programme.

Speaking to the media, Gopen said that a similar programme will also be held tomorrow.

He said that local rice, chakhao and other food items such as tomato, taro, bottle gourd they distributed were harvested by the farmers who were given the seeds by them.

Seeds for rabi crops will also be distributed during the two day programme, Gopen added.
