Impart what you learn to the students tells ADC Sadar Hills Chairman to SHADC Kpi teachers

As part of its initiative to streamline and strengthen education sector, Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Kangpokpi organized one day refresher course cum teachers' orientation programme for its teachers including Headmasters/Headmistress of all schools under SHADC Kangpokpi.
The refresher course cum teachers' orientation program is the first of its kind with the participation of resource person from State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT), Manipur.
ADC Sadar Hills Chairman, Haokholal Hangshing inaugurated the one day refreshers course cum teacher's orientation program at Conference Hall, ADC Sadar Hills today in the presence of Vice Chairman, Thangjakam Misao, chief executive officer, T Manihar Singh, MCS, Inspector of Schools Chinnu Kipgen and others officials and staffs of Education department.
Speaking at the inaugural function, Haokholal Hangshing stressed on the binding roles and responsibilities of teachers in the whole set up of education which is the backbone for future development of the nation and conveyed at length in the initiatives taken up by the District Council Administration, Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Kangpokpi in streamlining the education sector.
The Chairman also asked the teacher community under the Administration of Sadar Hills Autonomous District not to confine their knowledge and skills within themselves but impart completely to the student community as a responsible teachers.
While motivating the teacher community to keenly participate in the programme, ADC Sadar Hills Chairman also asked them to implement what they have learnt in the orientation program under any circumstances in their respective schools while adding that it would be useless if they fail to do so.
Chief executive officer, SHADC Kangpokpi, T Manihar Singh told media persons that the one day refresher course cum teachers orientation programme is an obligatory program for all in-service teachers including Headmasters/Headmistress and Assistant teachers of all schools under Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Kangpokpi with an aim to update them the techniques of teaching students in the schools.
He further said that the refresher course cum teachers' orientation program is organized in phase wise manner with experienced teachers from State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT), Manipur as resource persons and it is mandatory for the in-service teachers under Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council to attend the programme.
He continued that no leave will be entertained for any teaching staffs during the weeklong program which will be concluded on August 30 while adding that strict action will be initiated to those teachers who fail to follow the orders without any consideration.
A huge numbers of Head-masters/Headmistress attended the refresher course cum teachers' orientation program today which was particularly planned for them while all the Assistant teachers will take part in phase wise from tomorrow where attendance will be strictly monitored.
The Headmasters/Headmistress were profoundly taught on English, Mathematics, Environment Science and Social Science by S Aruna Devi, MA, MEd PGDEPA, Lecturer, DIET Senapati, RK Sachiranjan, MSc BEd, Sr Lecturer, DIET Imphal, W Indrajit Singh, MA, BEd, Lecturer DIET Senapati and Sharmila Devi, MA, BEd, Lecturer, DIET Senapati as resource persons today.
