Bodies of 3 shot dead by CRPF to be claimed

Imphal, April 23 2026: Bodies of Laishram Jiten, Wahengbam Boby and Huidrom Henry alias Michael who were killed in indiscriminate firing by CRPF jawans upon protesters at Tronglaobi on April 7, 2026 would be claimed tomorrow (Friday) .

Last rites of all the three victims of CRPF firing will be performed together at Torbung Lamthabung, Bishnupur district.

Statements issued by the wives of the three victims said they have decided to claim the bodies and perform last rites.

Notably, the three bodies are currently lying at RIMS mortuary along with the bodies of Oinam Tomthin (5 years) and Oinam Yaisana (5 months) who were killed in a bomb attack at Tronglaobi on April 7 .
