Imphal, April 23 2025: Under the aegis of Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM), Malem Leisana VLF in collaboration with Thoungambi Women Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited conducted the "Back To School" campaign at Srivan Higher Secondary School in Luwangsangbam under Heingang CD Block.

The campaign began on April 17 for Imphal East district.

Addressing the gathering, N Basanta, District Mission Manager, MSRLM Imphal East shared that the "Back to School" campaign first started in 2018 after an MoU was signed with the National Research Organisation, Kudumbashree, Kerala.

In association with the cluster blocks under MSRLM, the campaign, which seeks to uplift the women community and strengthen Self Help Groups, is being conducted in different parts of the State while engaging SHG members previously recruited by MSRLM, he said.

Haorongbam Prabhapati, president, Malem Leisana VLF also graced the event.

The campaign will cover all 160 Village Level Federations in Imphal East district.
