MAYOL organises interaction programme

Imphal, October 09 2026: The Manipur Youth League (MAYOL) organised a one-day interaction programme on political reforms at the multipurpose hall of Modern College today.

The programme was organised in association with the Modern College Students' Union as part of its year-long campaign under the theme "Politics: Vote for National Regeneration" .

Social activist Dr Dhanabir Laishram, Associate Professor Ch Rajen of the Economics Department of Modern College and MAYOL president Koijam Suresh spoke at the event.

Dhanabir said that good public representatives could be elected only when State politics is clean and elections are conducted in a fair manner.

Rajen, meanwhile, opined that public participation in politics is imperative to bring about changes in society.

K Suresh appealed to the youths of the State to actively participate in politics.

He said that political reforms are essential to bring about positive changes in the State.
