Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong issues directives to Tangkhul artisans

The apex Tangkhul students body, Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong, Ukhrul has issued stern warning against the Tangkhul artisans who defied the directive of Naga Students' Federation (NSF) to not cooperate with the Indian Armed Forces or Paramilitary in any form.
A notification issued by the Information and Publicity of TKS today directed all the artisans within the Saklong's jurisdiction who participated in the recently concluded programme 'Tangkhul Arts and Crafts exhibition', organised by 40 Assam Rifles, Shangshak and the Ministry of Tribal Affairs on June 28, 2024 at Shangshak village, Ukhrul have been informed to report at TKS office located opposite to Mini Secretariat, Ukhrul within five days from the date of issuing this notification.
It might be mentioned that TKS has earlier issued a public notice that "no individual, organisations, institutions, forum/union under Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong shall associate/invite the Indian Armed forces to any event in its jurisdiction neither partake in any official events of the Armed Forces" .
TKS being a federating unit of Naga Students' Federation (NSF), endorses decision of non-cooperation with the Indian Armed Forces or Paramilitary in any form.
According to a reliable source, around 50 artisans participated in the Tangkhul Arts and Crafts exhibition in Shangshak village.
The TKS further warned that failure to comply with this notification will result in the Saklong taking its own course of action and any untoward incidents which might follow later will be the sole responsibility of the defaulters and not of Saklong.
