Imphal, October 27 2024: Apart from offering revolutionary salute, the Socialist Revolutionary Party (SOREPA) Kangleipak has mourned the death of PLA Captain Oinam Gulu alias Babu s/o Oinam Kunjo and Oinam (ongbi) Pishak of Jiribam Kadamtala, PREPAK(Pro)'s Red Army Captain Wahengbam Sopaiba alias Saratkumar s/o Wahengbam Deva and Wahengbam (ongbi) Memcha of Hiyanglam Awang Leikai and Lance Corporal Nongmaithem Nongdol alias Bonisana s/o N Raju and Nongmaithem (ongbi) Sangita of Wangkhei Angom Leikai.

The three revolutionary fighters were killed in a battle fought against the aggression aimed at disintegrating Kangleipak/Manipur and suppressing the people's liberation movement, SOREPA said in a press release issued by its publicity and organisation secretary MC Yaifabi.

It also expressed solidarity with the bereaved families.

Their strong sense of sacrifice will always remain a source of inspiration for all revolutionary fighters.

Their supreme sacrifice also left a strong message to all revolutionary fighters to make necessary sacrifices for the future generations and wage the liberation movement collectively, it added.
