Imphal, April 23 2025: Thangmeiband AC MLA Khumukcham Joykisan extended monetary assistance to two ailing Impact TV journalists today.

The financial assistance was given to senior cameraman Khundrakpam Inaocha and news reader Okram Somendro.

The MLA visited the residence of the journalists and extended the aid.

Khundrakpam Inaocha hails from Thangmeiband Maisnam Leikai.

Okram Somorendro hails from Kakwa Nameirakpam Leikai Beni Leirak.

While extending the aid, the MLA also assured to construct an elevator at Manipur Press Club.

He announced that the elevator will be constructed in consultation with the new AMWJU office bearers who will assume office after the May 1 election of the union.

IMC Ward No 2 caretaker Corporator Thokchom Purnachandra, Thangmei-band BJP Mandal president Mutum Rajendro accompanied the MLA .
