Different resolutions adopted in the 19th State Conference of the CPI Manipur State Council will be put up for deliberation in the party's National Conference scheduled to be held at Hyderabad from March 23 to 27, stated newly elected Secretary of the CPI Manipur State Council Langol Iboyaima.
Briefing media persons at Irabot Bhavan here today, Iboyaima informed that the three day State conference held at Lamlai Chalou adopted different resolutions on unemployment problem, proposal to solve the issue of insurgency through political dialogue, prevailing law and order situation and the issue of territorial integrity.
These resolutions will be tabled at the National conference for minute discussion, he said.
The CPI Manipur State Council will be represented in the National Conference by 12 delegates including a woman.
Taking part in the press meet, CPI MLA N Mangi disclosed that the National Conference will deliberate on the economic crisis besetting the country besides chalking out strategies to strengthen the party so that the political outfit performs better in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The State delegates will also raise the issue of replacing the infamous Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act with a more humane act, implementation of PDS scheme and NREGS in the State, Mangi added.
