Imphal, August 18 2026: The Government has issued the transfer and posting of 9 IAS officers.

Among the major changes, Mohan Lal Meena, who is currently the Secretary of Commission of Inquiry, Manipur Violence and Manipur Lok Ayukta has been given the additional charge of Commissioner (Works) .

N Ashok Kumar, Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Home/Relief and Disaster Management/Works), Special Secretary (Vigilance & Anti-Corruption) and Resident Commissioner, Mani- pur Bhawan, New Delhi, has been posted as Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Finance/Home) and Resident Commissioner, Manipur Bhawan, New Delhi, besides being Commissioner to the Chief Minister. Hungyo Worshang, Secretary (Tourism) and Commissioner (Excise), has been posted as Secretary (PHE) and Commissioner (Excise).

Neeta Arambam, Secretary, Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC), has been posted as Secretary (IPR) and Director (Medical Education) .

W Malemnganba Chenglei, Secretary (Cooperation) and Special Secretary (Finance), has been posted as Secretary (WR) and Special Secretary (Finance). Somorjit Salam, Secretary (WR/IT) and Director (Medical Education), has been posted as Secretary (IT/Relief and Disaster Management) .

Dr Rangitabali Waikhom, Secretary, Manipur Staff Selection Commission and Special Secretary (Edn-S), has been posted as Secretary (Tourism/Cooperation) .

L Bikram, Director (Tourism) and Special Secretary (DP), has been posted as Special Secretary (DP) .

Khumanthem Diana, Director (Transport) and Additional Secretary (Veterinary & Animal Husbandry), has been posted as Director (Transport) with additional charge of Director (Tourism) .
