17 projects handed over to people of Bishnupur

Bishnupur, April 17 2021: As an aftermath of the 4 years celebration of the BJP led Government of Manipur, a handing-over ceremony of developmental projects of Bishnupur district was organised by the district administration at the Multipurpose Hall of Mini Secretariat Complex, Bishnupur today.

Altogether 17 inaugurated projects of 5 different departments of Manipur were handed over to the people of Bishnupur during the function in the presence of Minister Th Satyabrata, the Minister in charge of Bishnupur district.

The projects under Horticulture & Soil Conservation Department includes cold room and pre cooling unit at Khoijuman-Oinam AC with Rs 20 lakh budgetary allocation and rural market at Tronglaobi, Moirang AC with Rs 13.75 lakh budgetary allocation.

Setting up of PHC Oinam Health & Wellness Centre at Oinam AC, Sub Centre Ishok HWC in Nambol AC, SC Sanjenbam HWC in Nambol AC, SC Keibul HWC in Thanga AC, SC Saiton HWC in Kumbi AC, SC Awang Kumbi HWC in Kumbi AC, SC Pombikhok HWC in Kumbi AC, SC Ithai HWC in Kumbi AC and SC Chairel Leingang Tabi HWC in Kumbi AC were the main projects of the Health & Family Welfare Department.

17 projects handed over to people of Bishnupur

The projects to be undertaken under the Public Health Engineering Department includes construction of a water supply scheme under the North East Council(NEC) at Laisoipat, Yenapat and Awangsoi in Oinam AC.

Establishment of Naorem Junior High School in Nambol AC and Thoya Kokilbon Primary School in Moirang AC, setting up of Science Laboratory Building of SK Women's College in Nambol AC and One Stop Centre at Bishnupur Mini Secretariat in Bishnupur AC were the lists of projects to be undertaken under the Education S Department.

The Project of the Sericulture Department includes construction of type I Quarter at Ngangkhalawai in Moirang AC with Rs 15 lakh budgetary allocation.

Speaking at the occasion as the chief guest, CAF & PD and Labour Minister, Th Satyabrata Singh stated that bringing hill-valley equality, ensuring peace & prosperity and a state free from bandhs, blockades are some of the major achievements of the BJP led Government.

The Government is able to serve the healthcare needs of the people through the Chief Minister gi Hakshelgi Tengbang Scheme.

CM N Biren is the main architect of all these achievements, he assured.

The Minister further highlighted that Manipur is marching ahead for a progressive state with sustainable development goals, doing away with gender bias and targeting amicable solution to diseases and environmental hazards.

Chairman Khadi & Village Industries Board and Manipur Pollution Control Board, MLA L Radhakishore said "If we can identify ourselves well, then only we can be called civilised.

Our basic identity, culture, economy and civilisation depends to a large extent on the surrounding environment and nature" .

Chairman Planning & Development Authority,Manipur, MLA T Robindro stated that CM Biren's innovative schemes and policies like Go to Hills, Go to Village, Start Up, Stand Up etc help bring the state on the path to development apart from bridging the hill-valley divide.

DC Bishnupur Neeta Arambam, CEO Zilla Parishad/PD(DRDA), L Manikanta and related officials of the district also attended the programme.
