MA, AT come out strongly against killing of CRPF jawan

Meitei Alliance has strongly condemned the killing of a CRPF jawan and injuring security personnel in an attack at Jiribam district on July 14 .
According to a press release issued by Meitei Alliance today, the incident happened when a combined team of the 20th Battalion CRPF and Manipur police were attacked by "Chin-Kuki cross border terrorists" while the team was conducting a joint search operation.
Extending their deepest condolences to the bereaved family of martyr Ajay Kumar Jha (43) from Bihar, Meitei Alliance maintained that his supreme sacrifice while serving the Nation will be remembered with utmost respect.
The Alliance further prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured personnel.
Recalling similar attacks on security forces in the past by Kuki militants, Meitei Alliance brought into focus the attack on the Chief Minister's advanced security convoy to Jiribam on June 10 which left a security personnel with serious injuries.
Stating that Ajay Kumar Jha is the twelfth security personnel killed by "cross border terrorists" in such attacks amid the Manipur crisis, Meitei Alliance railed at the lack of satisfying actions by the Indian Government to suppress such cross border terrorism.
Separately, Arambai Tenggol has extended heartfelt condolences over the demise of Ajay Kumar Kha during the gun fight that occurred in Mongbung and Seijang in Jiribam.
Lauding Ajay Kumar as a hero who safeguarded the territorial integrity and the people of Manipur, the Arambai Tenggol statement also praised his strength and bravery.
AT has also extended their wishes for speedy recovery to the security personnel injured in the episode.
