Dr Anandkumar listed among top scientists

Imphal, October 09 2026: Dr Anandkumar Naorem, a scientist at ICAR-Central Arid Zone Research Institute (CAZRI), Jodhpur, has been listed among the world's top 2 per cent scientists in the field of agriculture for 2026 .

A resident of Naorem Leikai, Dr Anandkumar's main fields of research are agriculture, fisheries and forestry, while his subfields include agronomy and agriculture.

The listing is based on data verified by Elsevier and Stanford University.

Dr Anandkumar is the son of N Jyotinkumar and Sobita.

He was also conferred the Best Poster Award at the Dryland Congress held in New Delhi from September 10 to 12 this year for presenting a scientific paper in his area of expertise.
